Fantastic Presentations during CT Session
Dear 7C,
Our CT sessions are never the same again starting from last Monday. Thanks to the superb proposal by our tutor Ms Esther Chin, we will get to hear from a few of our classmates every Monday about anything under the sun. Members from our class will take turns to present what interests them most, and hopefully, evoke the same interests in the rest of us. Today kick started the first of the wonderful series with distinguished members of the class, Messrs Goh Jun Heng and Keef Lin, as well as Miss Liang Yu Jing and Melissa Liew. Read on to find out more about their adventures!
Goh Jun Heng: Gold Coast Australia

Jun Heng shared with the class about his exciting trip to Gold Coast Australia and how very much he enjoyed the trip. He delightfully indulged in a lively recount of his trip to Movie World theme park and how his favorite childhood heros came to life. He ended off encouraging every one to take a trip there for it is a beautiful place and have beautiful people.
Miss Chin commented that he lacked pictorial information and hence the audience were not treated to a visual feast, having salivated at Jun Heng's masterful sotry telling skills.
Melissa Liew and Liang Yu Jing: Scrabble!

Melissa and Yu Jing shared about how to play the popular game Scrabble and taught everyone some techniques for playing scrabble, including how to take full advantage of the word bonuses, how to memorize all the two letter words (which dear fellow CT mate Mr. Lan Ying Jie seemed to have committed to memory)and how a player should play his cards in different situations. They also related their experiences in representing their secondary school for Scrabble.
I am sure after their informative and interesting presentation, many of us are itching to try out the game. The class is looking forward to more presentations on games (but be sure to bring the actual board so we can all experience for ourselves!)
Keef Lin: OPC New Zealand
Only when a man is genuinely challenged can he show his true character. Keef recounted how he showed his true character during his wonderful trip to OPC New Zealand in 2005. Keef told us how he managed to guide his team out of a cave when his orienteering skills abit zhai. He also told us how division of labour was quintessential in any successful teams (example he quoted was how he peeled potato while his friends cooked). He also pointed out to the guys in the class how important it is to know how to peel a potato properly, if not your ego deflates.
The only shortcoming of Keef's magnificent presentation was that he did not have visual aids to show the class how cool the trip really was. Ms Chin also suggested that he link his presentation to NS (guys doing future presentation, please take note).
I am ready to bet 6.02 * 10^23 mango madnesses that everyone in the class enjoyed this session and is looking forward to even more exciting presentations in the future.
COMING UP NEXT!!
Jolene, Mei Jiao, Neville and Xing Han!
